A veneer is a thin shell — usually porcelain, sometimes composite resin — bonded to the front surface of a tooth to correct its shape, size, or color. Composite bonding is faster and cheaper per tooth, while porcelain holds up longer and mimics natural enamel translucency more convincingly.
A thin layer of enamel is typically prepped off before bonding, which is why the process is considered permanent rather than reversible. A same-visit digital mock-up shows you the expected shape and shade before the permanent veneers are fabricated in a lab.
Getting veneers doesn't replace the need for normal hygiene — the tooth underneath still needs the same care as any other. Grinding at night is one of the more common reasons veneers chip early, so a nightguard is often recommended alongside the procedure.
A digital mock-up shows your expected new smile before any enamel is prepped or veneers ordered.
Choose long-lasting porcelain or same-day composite bonding depending on budget and timeline.
Some cases qualify for ultra-thin veneers requiring little to no enamel removal.
Veneers are shade-matched to your natural teeth or your desired brighter target shade.
Whatever the specifics of your case, the specialist you reach through us has handled it before.
The longer-lasting option, resistant to staining and closely mimicking natural enamel.
A same-day option for patients who want results quickly without a lab turnaround wait.
Several front teeth are veneered together for a coordinated, symmetrical smile redesign.
Preserves more of your natural tooth compared to traditional veneer prep.
A single damaged veneer is typically addressed individually rather than requiring a full redo.
A preview simulation lets you approve your projected new smile before any permanent work begins.
A coordinator answers and asks a few quick questions about your specific case and how soon you need care.
We match you with a nearby specialist experienced in this exact procedure and check real-time openings.
The specialist examines your case, often with same-visit X-rays, and gives you a cost estimate before starting anything.
Treatment proceeds on the agreed plan, with clear aftercare instructions and a follow-up if the case calls for one.
"They walked me through the cost and the procedure before I agreed to anything. Appreciated that."
"Didn't have to wait weeks like my old dentist. Straight to a specialist who knew exactly what to do."
"Price they quoted on the phone matched the invoice exactly. No surprise charges."
Because enamel is prepped away for a proper fit, veneers generally aren't meant to be removed and left bare afterward.
With good hygiene, porcelain veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years before needing replacement.
Modern porcelain closely mimics natural enamel translucency, and shade-matching avoids an artificial, overly white look.
Enamel prep is done under local anesthesia, so the procedure itself is generally not painful.
Veneers cover just the front surface of a tooth, while crowns encase the entire visible tooth structure.
Pricing depends on the number of teeth involved and material choice, confirmed during your consultation.
We keep an updated roster of specialists across First Mesa and the surrounding zip codes, so a nearby provider is already in our network.
Licensed to practice in AZ, credential-checked before joining the network.
